Join us for six days of movement, laughter, and restoration with the SoulSpeak community — a jungle retreat where fitness meets friendship and nature does the healing. From sunrise flows to sunset Soul Work, every class is filled with energy, connection, and the kind of fun that reminds you what it feels like to be fully alive.

Wake to the sound of the ocean and move through each day with intention: morning yoga in the open-air shala, nourishing farm-to-table meals, time by the infinity pool, and sunsets that make you stop and breathe it all in.

Between classes, wander to the on-site waterfall, dip into the cold plunge, sweat it out in the sauna, or stroll ten minutes into the colorful town of Montezuma.

Throughout the week, you’ll experience 2–3 daily SoulSpeak sessions — from Yoga and Soul Work to Soul Burn and more — designed to help you recharge, reconnect, and come home to yourself.

We’ll adventure together too: a guided waterfall hike, and a full-day surf trip to Santa Teresa.

 FAQs

  • Anyone and everyone. This is a wellness experience for people who want to move, rest, and reconnect — whether you’re traveling solo, with a friend, or as part of the SoulSpeak community.

  • No. You’ll book your own flight into San José (SJO) or Liberia (LIR). Once you’re set, we can help coordinate shared transfers from the airport or nearby hotels straight to the retreat centre in Montezuma.

  • The retreat officially begins on March 29 and ends on April 4. There’s no early check-in option, but Montezuma is just a 10-minute walk from our centre and has amazing boutique hotels if you’d like to explore beforehand. You’re welcome to extend your trip after — we recommend adding a few days (or a full week!) to unwind.

  • All levels are welcome. Classes are similar to what you’ll find at SoulSpeak — thoughtful, challenging, and creative — but always adaptable to your body and pace.

  • About a 15–20 minute walk. Montezuma Beach is a long, sandy stretch that’s perfect for morning dips or sunset walks.

  • You’ll have access to a cold plunge, sauna, two open-air yoga shalas, massage services, an infinity pool, and a private waterfall — all surrounded by ocean and jungle views.

  • Yes! The surf day in Santa Teresa is for all levels. Your instructor will meet you where you’re at — whether it’s your first wave or your fiftieth.

  • No. We keep the retreat menu wellness-focused, but there are great local options nearby — including a butterfly sanctuary and brewery just down the street, or lively beach bars in Montezuma for a sunset drink.

  • Definitely. Many guests come solo and leave with lifelong friends. We’ll happily pair you with a roommate if you select a shared room.

  • Fly into San José (SJO) or Liberia (LIR). From there, we’ll help organize shuttles or private transfers directly to the retreat centre.

  • We recommend booking travel insurance that covers medical emergencies, flight delays, and trip cancellation. Let us know if you’d like assistance adding this to your trip.

  • All retreat payments are non-refundable. If you need to cancel, your spot can be transferred to another guest.

The Nicoya Peninsula has been designated one of the world’s Blue Zones by author Dan Buettner, one of five areas in the world where people are known to live the longest and healthiest.
